Colin is a horticulturist who has decades of hands-on experience all across Canada and formal education (U of Guelph) in the world of horticulture. He has a passion for not only growing but teaching people how to grow. Predominately working with the public in his 30+ years of horticulture, Colin has heard all the issues people face and constantly works to help their problems be resolved as well as to increase their understanding of how plants grow and live. Colin is an inventor, author, podcast co-host (The Helpful Gardeners), photographer, webinar series host and has worked in landscaping, construction, marketing and as a purchaser for a garden centre. He has done speaking at live events, on the radio and numerous TV spots. Colin understands growing from both a practical and behind-the-scenes application. This understanding of horticulture, people, the marketplace and marketing give him the ability to lead the company forward and ensure a solid foundation. He is a firm believer in sustainability, environment protection, animal rights and ecology. He currently lives in Calgary Alberta with his wife Jenny, son Harry, dog Jimmy and 70+ houseplants.

Hasan is an experienced accountant with a global background in financial management and international money transfers. He studied in the UK, honing his analytical skills, and then worked in Dubai managing financial portfolios for multinational companies. After migrating to Canada, he became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and gained insight into North American finance. Now, he runs a business offering financial guidance, utilizing his extensive knowledge of global markets and diverse business environments, making him a valuable partner at RÜTaround.
